Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for candidates who prepare or oversee the preparation of presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. A sound working knowledge of Windows is essential.

The course is entirely 'hands on', so delegates will get practice in creating and modifying actual presentations.

Course Objectives:

To provide candidates with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Power Point graphical presentation application.

The course contains a structured series of practical demonstrations and exercises that will include all the basic principles involved in using Power Point.

At the end of the course delegates will be able to:

    Load and unload the Powerpoint application
    Understand all the relevant screen information
    Create a presentation
    Work with all of the different views available
    Format the text within a presentation for visual impact
    Change the slide and title masters
    Insert ClipArt and WordArt objects into their presentation
    Create drawings
    Insert charts for use in the presentation
    Use slide transition and animation effects
    Insert objects including sound and video files into a presentation
    Produce printed output of their presentation
    Organise the presentation
    Deliver a presentation
    Use the on line help manuals

Course prerequisites:

A sound working knowledge of Windows.
